This system acts as a window or Portal not just to existing data but also provides information accessible both to Patients and Healthcare providers in terminology and language/diction that each is familiar with.

While Portals are not a new concept, ThinkShield has selected this new technology partnership as being one that stands out for helping the NHS and Social Care to not only save costs, but also deliver a significantly improved long term disability care to their customer patients.

The technology brings all related patient data together and creates a relational view using an ontology to analyse the information and presents it via a single window and because the data is in real time the window view is constantly being updated to keep both clinician and where necessary patient informed of their status and the steps necessary to maintain and to assist in treatment.
